T-shirts can help tell the world who you are. Now, one of the things your shirt can say is that you support the J school.
The CoJMC Student Advisory Board is selling T-shirts to raise funds to help recruit and retain students.
Students, staff and faculty voted last fall on shirt designs. When two designs got the same number of votes, they were combined on one shirt. Student Clay Lomneth designed the front, and SAB president Shannon Smith designed the back.
Money raised with T-shirt sales helps pay for recruitment materials and events sponsored by the Journalism Ambassadors, a student group that manages Red Letter Days, and improves the J school’s presence on a national level. The money also is used toward events like Freshman Welcome in fall and J Days in the spring, when SAB provides students with snacks and prizes during the week that celebrates the college.
Shirts are available for $20, which includes shipping. Shirts can be ordered by e-mailing SAB at sab.cojmc@gmail.com. Checks should be made payable to SAB and sent to the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, College of Journalism and Mass Communications, 147 Andersen Hall, Lincoln, Neb. 68588-0443. Orders will be filled for each month or every 50 shirts ordered.
